Apple Pie Quesadillas
Apple Pie Quesadillas are an enticing twist on a classic apple pie! Delicious apple pie filling and rich caramel sauce is nestled between two crispy tortillas for a crave-worthy treat!

Ingredients
- 8 small tortillas
- 1/2 cup caramel sauce
- 20 oz can apple pie filling
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 tbsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup butter
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together sugar and cinnamon.
- Next, pour the apple pie filling onto a cutting board and use a large knife to coarsely chop up the apples. Set aside.
- In a pan over medium heat, melt ½ tablespoon of butter.
- Once melted, add a tortilla to the pan for about a minute to allow it to crisp up. Take it out of the pan and set it aside. This tortilla will go on top of the quesadilla.
- Melt another ½ tablespoon of butter in the pan. Add the second tortilla, then drizzle on 1 tablespoon of caramel sauce. Spread 1 cup of the apple pie filling over the caramel, then drizzle on an additional tablespoon of caramel topping.
- Then, place the crispy tortilla on top and let the quesadilla heat through. Flip if needed.
- Finally, dust the top of the apple pie quesadilla with the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Move it to a cooling rack and repeat the process for the rest of the quesadillas.
- Allow them to cool slightly before cutting them into quarters, then serve with caramel dipping sauce or vanilla ice cream.
Notes
- You can serve these on their own or top them with ice cream, whipped cream, or caramel sauce!
- I like to use canned apple filling for ease, but you can certainly use your own pie-filling recipe. Be sure to cook the filling before adding it to the quesadilla.
- If you need to flip the quesadilla, use a large spatula to support it during the flip.
